Meetings

The Ontario Chapter holds a minimum of four meetings per year. Regular meetings are facilitated via online audio and video communication.* Meetings may vary in timing and days of the week.

The Ontario Genealogical Society’s annual Conference, usually in May, is the venue for our widespread membership to gather at a ‘face to face’ meeting.

The agenda is circulated in advance on our electronic mailing list. Meeting minutes and reports are sent to members the same way.

Special meetings may be called to discuss major events or issues requiring full membership participation.

Social meetings may include a party at Christmas or other times of the year. Members in different areas, or special interest groups, are encouraged to meet locally and informally.
